Citizen's income: What additional needs are there?

In addition to the Standard rate and housing costs recipients can receive additional benefits for special life situations - the Additional requirements. Here you can find out who is entitled and how much support is available.
What is additional demand?
Additional requirements covered Additional coststhat go beyond the normal cost of living. These include
✔ Pregnancy & birth (e.g. baby equipment, clothing)
✔ Single parents (higher costs for childcare)
✔ Disability (assistance, aids)
✔ Medical nutrition (e.g. for diabetes)
✔ Hot water (if it is generated decentrally)
Who is entitled to additional needs?
Certain Groups of people can receive additional needs in addition to the citizen's allowance. The amount depends on individual needs.
Amount of additional requirements
Pregnancy: From the Week 13 → 17 % of the control power
Single parents: Up to 60 % of the control power (depending on number of children & age)
Disabled people: 35 % of the control powerif benefits for participation in working life are received
Nutrition: In case of medical necessity (individual calculation)
Hot water: If with Instantaneous water heater or boiler generated
Additional one-off benefits
One-off costs are not included in the standard rate, but can be covered for
✔ Initial furnishing of the flat
✔ Initial equipment for clothing (pregnancy & birth)
✔ School trips lasting several days (will be paid in full)
